Founded by Tim and Dawn Downer, Heart Mountain Double Diamond Ranch sits on 2,200 acres in the Big Horn Basin — just outside Yellowstone's east gate. The brand is built on two engines: ranch-to-table organic Angus beef and high-touch wellness retreats designed by our in-house wellness team.

Our Angus cattle roam freely across pristine ranchland in the Big Horn Basin, grazing on natural grasses and drinking from clean mountain streams. No feedlots. No confinement. Just cattle living as nature intended.
We never use artificial hormones or antibiotics. Our cattle follow a strictly organic feed protocol supplemented by the natural forage of Wyoming's high plains. Every animal is individually tracked from birth.
We work with USDA-certified processors who share our commitment to animal welfare. Low-stress handling protocols ensure the highest quality beef — because we believe how an animal is treated in its final hours affects the entire eating experience.
Our beef is dry-aged by master butchers for 21 to 28 days, allowing natural enzymes to tenderize the muscle fibers and concentrate the flavors. The result is unmatched tenderness and depth of taste.
Within hours of processing, every cut is individually vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to -20°F, locking in peak nutrition and flavor. Our packaging eliminates freezer burn and extends shelf life without preservatives.
